our services
“The Family Movie Trust Fund serves many people living under the poverty line who can not afford to take their families to a big chain theater and look to us to provide them a first-rate cinema experience at an affordable cost. We issue hundreds of complimentary tickets to all shows at the Ottawa Family Cinema which provide thousands of hours of much-needed entertainment to families in need throughout our Ottawa community. These shows have a very positive effect on their lives bringing entertainment, education, fun and involvement for their families. Everyone deserves and needs to feel part of the larger community and have a proper theater experience. Often getting them out of their less than desirable environment. This also helps build new generations of movie-lovers bringing hope. Joy and positive messages for a better life in the community. We strongly believe that having a form of good film entertainment to see outside the home is so important to a person’s health and well-being, helping them lift their spirits and giving them hope. Our goal is to bring to every child and family member a state-of-the-art motion picture experience, second to none where they can have a true shared experience, get involved with their community and take part in every event regardless of their income or social standing.”

The home of Great Family Movies! Ottawa’s best kept movie secret……
Ottawa Family Cinema Foundation is a non-profit organization. The theater is located in the Rideau Hub, 815 St Laurent Boulevard
The cinema has a big CinemaScope screen, comfortable seating, and Dolby Digital theater sound. The Snack Bar offers Fresh hot popcorn with all the usual movie theater treats at a fraction of the usual costs.
